🍂 Dijous Bo 2026 · Mallorca’s Biggest Autumn Fair in Inca
If there’s one Mallorcan fair you should experience at least once, it’s Dijous Bo. 🍂
On Thursday, 19 November 2026, Inca once again becomes the centre of attention as thousands of people from across Mallorca gather for one of the island’s largest, oldest and most beloved traditional fairs.
Part agricultural show, part enormous market, part food festival and, perhaps most importantly, a very good excuse for half of Mallorca to bump into the other half.
Dijous Bo has its roots in Inca’s history as an agricultural and commercial centre, when farmers, traders and producers would gather to buy, sell and exchange goods. Centuries later, the fair has evolved into a huge celebration of Mallorca’s local products, craftsmanship, agricultural traditions and community spirit.
And when we say huge, we mean it. The fair takes over much of Inca, filling streets and squares with market stalls, traditional food, livestock exhibitions, agricultural machinery, local businesses and visitors from every corner of the island.
🍂 What to Expect at Dijous Bo
🧺 One Enormous Market
The streets of Inca transform into a giant marketplace, traditionally featuring hundreds of stalls selling everything from local produce and artisan crafts to ceramics, textiles, leather goods, household items and much more.
Inca is particularly well known for its leather industry, so this is also a good opportunity to explore the town’s local shops and craftsmanship.
🐷 Agricultural & Livestock Traditions
One of the most interesting parts of Dijous Bo is its connection to rural Mallorca.
Head towards Plaça del Bestiar, traditionally one of the main areas for livestock exhibitions, agricultural displays and competitions.
Look out for the porc negre, Mallorca’s native black pig, which plays an important role in the island’s culinary heritage, particularly in the production of traditional sobrassada.
🍷 Local Food & Mallorcan Specialities
Come hungry!
Dijous Bo is all about discovering local flavours, from cheeses, olives and traditional sweets to seasonal produce and other Mallorcan specialities.
There are plenty of opportunities to stop for something to eat while exploring the fair, and Inca’s traditional cellers (former wine cellars converted into restaurants) are particularly popular during the celebrations.
🎶 Music, Traditions & Festivities
Traditional music, cultural activities and entertainment are also part of the Dijous Bo atmosphere, with additional events taking place around the main fair.
The complete programme for 2026, including individual activities, performances and schedules, will be announced closer to the date.
🌙 Wednesday, 18 November · Dimecres Bo
Here’s a little local tip: the celebrations begin the evening before!
Known as Dimecres Bo, the Wednesday before the main fair is traditionally one of Inca’s liveliest nights of the year.
Expect a festive atmosphere, people gathering in the streets, food, music and plenty of socialising.
For many locals, Dimecres Bo is just as much a part of the tradition as the fair itself.
It’s a great option if you prefer an evening out, although don’t expect Inca to be particularly quiet!

🫶 Our Insider Tips
🚆 Take the train. Seriously. Dijous Bo attracts enormous crowds, and parking in Inca can be challenging. The train from Palma brings you directly into town.
⏰ Arrive early. The fair gets progressively busier throughout the day. An early start gives you more time to explore the stalls comfortably.
👟 Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll probably walk much further than you planned.
🛍️ Bring a shopping bag. Between local produce, crafts and spontaneous purchases, you’ll thank us later.
💶 Carry some cash. Although many vendors accept cards, cash is useful for smaller stalls.
🍽️ Book lunch in advance. If you’re planning to eat at one of Inca’s traditional restaurants or cellers, reservations are highly recommended.
🐷 Don’t miss the agricultural side. It’s one of the things that makes Dijous Bo so different from an ordinary market.
🍂 Don’t try to see everything. Part of the experience is simply wandering, discovering and enjoying the atmosphere.

Why We Love It
Dijous Bo isn’t a fair created for tourists. It’s a tradition that brings Mallorca together.
Families who return every year, farmers catching up with other farmers, friends meeting in the streets, people shopping, eating, drinking and simply enjoying being part of it all.
It’s busy, a little chaotic and wonderfully local.
Just very, very Mallorca. 🍂🫶
And if you ask a Mallorcan whether it’s worth going, don’t be surprised if the answer is simply:
“És Dijous Bo.”
It’s Dijous Bo. What more reason do you need?
