🛍️ Consell Flea Market (Mercat dels Encants de Consell)
Every Sunday, the town of Consell hosts Mallorca’s largest and most famous flea market, a must-visit for treasure hunters, vintage lovers, and curious browsers alike.
This lively market offers an ever-changing mix of second-hand clothes, toys, furniture, jewellery, antiques, books, records, tools, and unique one-of-a-kind items — many with stories and personal histories behind them. No two Sundays are the same, and half the fun is never knowing what you’ll find.
For many sellers, the market is both a source of income and a social Sunday ritual, and the atmosphere reflects that. The two small tapas bars on site are always buzzing, making it as much a meeting point as a shopping experience.
The market began in 1994, when Australian resident John Douglas set up just two tables selling second-hand goods. Within four years it had grown to 300 sellers, and it has remained hugely popular ever since — now firmly established as a Sunday tradition on the island.
