What if some of the habits you’ve been carrying around aren’t really yours to begin with?
On Tuesday, 27 October, Suset Laboy of A Little Awareness joins Lula Luca for an intimate morning in Sóller combining guided hypnosis, intuitive clay work and a little ancestral exploration.
Taking place just before Halloween and Día de los Muertos, this workshop invites you to explore the family patterns, expectations and unwritten rules that may have been passed down through generations. Some are worth keeping. Others? Perhaps it’s time to say goodbye.
And don’t worry about the hypnosis. Nobody’s turning into a chicken. It’s simply a state of inwardly focused attention, helping you explore the thoughts, behaviours and beliefs you’ve come to accept as part of who you are.
The morning begins with guided hypnosis to identify a pattern or habit you’d like to explore. From there, you’ll work intuitively with clay, giving those thoughts and feelings a physical form, with no techniques to master and no perfect result to aim for.
Partway through the experience, the pieces begin to move from hand to hand. Someone else continues what you started, while you take on another person’s creation. It’s a playful exercise in letting go of control, shifting perspective and discovering different ways of responding to familiar patterns.
The workshop then returns to hypnosis, inviting you to connect with your ancestors through compassionate reflection, seek guidance and imagine new possibilities for how you’d like to live moving forward.
While the themes can be personal, the experience is designed to be playful, creative and welcoming.
The morning ends with a traditional Mallorcan merienda, with time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the studio and connect with the group.
The clay creations remain at the studio, but everyone leaves with a handmade keepsake created especially for the occasion.
No previous experience with clay or hypnosis is needed. Just bring an open mind, a little curiosity and perhaps a family rule you’re ready to break. 😉
