Wild, serene & off the beaten track and your window into rural life in Mallorca – this is Can Cavall Blau!
“Deep in the island’s agricultural heartland, between the mountains and the plains, we produce our signature Amargéro aperitif, low intervention wines, and seasonal vinegars and preserves for people like you – islanders, expats, and visitors in the know.“
Open Farm
For families, the farm opens as early as 5pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the space with your kids. Our beautiful polo horses, friendly cats, and snail-chasing ducks provide free entertainment for everyone!
Aperitivo Hour
As the sun begins to set behind the mountains, our open house Aperitivo Hour welcomes you for a social tasting of our Amargéro aperitif every Sunday, 2 hours before sunset. Sunset times will vary over the year, so please check the exact timings (either from 5pm or 6pm) when you select the date.
This is an informal affair with snacks, spritzes and friends. Offering a chance to meet like-minded souls and a window into our life on the farm.
For the curious, the free-spirited and the sociable, the farm is open for tastings and events at the weekends, and by appointment at all other times.
Reservations are free but essential. Please make a reservation (free of charge via the “buy tickets” link), since places are limited and we want to avoid disappointment!
Amargéro
Our signature Aperitif is hand-made in the heart of the island, with organically-grown bitter oranges from our farm and from select neighbours who share our commitment to regenerative agriculture.
We bottle in vintages, so you always experience the nuances of each year on the island.
About Can Cavall Blau
We moved our farming, cultural work and horse-breading practices to the island in 2017, attracted by its magic and the potential of these four hectares of rugged paradise.
We craved a life that’s truly connected to nature, free from the daily grind of the city and abundant with joy. Our horses’ enduring presence helps us to continue farming organically, sustainably and with circularity in mind.
