🎶 14th Trobada d’Havaneres · Port de Sóller
Havaneres by the sea return to Port de Sóller this September.
On 18 y 19 de septiembre, 14th Trobada d’Havaneres de Sóller brings two evenings of live music to the port, with performers from Mallorca, Menorca, Formentera, the Costa Brava and Cuba coming together for one of Sóller’s established musical traditions.
Havaneres are traditional seafaring songs with roots in the cultural exchange between Cuba and Spain, particularly popular along the Mediterranean coast. Their nostalgic melodies and maritime themes make Port de Sóller a rather fitting setting for two days dedicated to the genre.
This year’s gathering is hosted by Mar Puigserver, en el que Tomeu Penya and Anaïs Perrotte as patrons, and forms part of Sóller, Capital Cultural de la Serra de Tramuntana – Patrimoni de la Humanitat.
