Palma is gearing up for a brand-new event that pays tribute to a jewel of Balearic gastronomy: the variat mallorquí, a traditional tapas-style recipe recognised as a true symbol of Mallorcan food culture.
On September 27 & 28, Plaça de Pere Garau becomes the stage for the very first Fira del Variat Mallorquí – a lively mix of gastronomy, music, culture, and community spirit in one of Palma’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. Known for its bustling municipal market and cultural diversity, Pere Garau offers the perfect setting for a festival that blends tradition with modernity.
