🎉 Festa Patronal de Sant Julià i Santa Basilissa · Campos 2026
Campos celebrates its patron saint festivities with a programme that blends tradition, community, and new creative ideas, inviting everyone to take part in one of the town’s most meaningful celebrations of the year. From 7 to 11 January, the village comes alive with religious ceremonies, family-friendly activities, music, dance, gastronomy, and cultural highlights.
Over the years, the solemn religious services have grown into a festes majors format with a strong family focus, where the festive imagery of Campos takes centre stage: coronetes de crema, the market and musical vermouth, traditional dances, and a carefully curated cultural programme.
✨ Highlights of the 2026 edition include:
- Coronetes de Sant Julià (7–11 Jan): traditional cream pastries available in local bakeries and at the Sant Julià market
- Exhibition: “Daemŏnium: no és tan lleig el dimoni com el pinten” – unveiling the new costumes of the dimonis of Campos
- Sarsuela: El dúo de la africana at Teatre Escènic
- BOVOFEST (Friday 9 Jan): a major new highlight, where es Bovo – the siurell demon of the Cossiers – symbolically switches off the Christmas lights, followed by concerts and DJs
🕯️ Key moments not to miss
- 8 January: Vigil Mass, Completes of Sant Julià, and exhibition opening
- 9 January (Sant Julià Day): Solemn Mass, parade with festive figures, market, musical vermouth, Ball dels Cossiers, and BOVOFEST with live music by La Mujer de Verde and DJ Stephane
- 10 January: Mostra de Ball de Bot by students of the Music School of Campos
- 11 January: Charity dance masterclass (batuka, bachata & line dance) and evening sarsuela performance
A celebration rooted in devotion and identity, yet open to creativity and shared joy – Festes de Sant Julià i Santa Basilissa are a true reflection of Campos’ living traditions.
