The town of Campos celebrates Sant Blai, one of its most deeply rooted traditional festivities, with a programme combining religious ceremonies, family activities, folklore, gastronomy, and popular culture.
The events take place around the Oratory of Sant Blai and nearby gardens, bringing together residents of all ages.
📅 Programme Highlights
🕯 Tuesday 3 February – Sant Blai Day
- 10:00 am · Oratory of Sant Blai
Mass and blessing of oil and food.
🎶 Saturday 7 February
- 11:00 am · Oratory of Sant Blai
Solemn Mass and blessing of children, with musical accompaniment by the Choir of the Campos Senior Citizens’ Association.
Each child will receive a keepsake with the Goigs de Sant Blai. - Afterwards · Mediterranean Flora Garden

🎉 Sunday 8 February – Main Festival Day
- 9:30 am · Sant Blai Sense Fum (Smoke-Free Sant Blai)
Walking and cycling route departing from Plaça Major, with the participation of the xeremiers (traditional bagpipers) of Campos and Civil Protection.- Registration and scarf collection: 2–4 February, Casal de Can Pere Ignasi (8:30 am–1:30 pm)
- Price: €2 (includes scarf and snack)
- Participation without snack or scarf does not require registration

Sant Blai Oil ritual – participants may anoint their throat using single-use cotton swabs. - From 9:30 am · Mediterranean Flora Garden
Children’s activities: paper windmill workshop and traditional slingshot practice and demonstration. - 11:00 am · Palm Garden
Solemn Mass with the participation of catechism families. - After the Mass
- Ball dels Óssos by Pinyol Vermell (in front of the church)
- Traditional folk dancing by Agrupació Brot de Taperera (Palm Garden)

Community barbecue (torrada).- Tickets available from 2–5 February at Casal de Can Pere Ignasi, the Rectory, and Ca Ses Monges
- Price: €15 (includes sausage, botifarró, pork loin, pancetta, bread, dessert, and drink)
- Proceeds support the Sant Blai Espadanya
ℹ️ Additional Information
- The Oratory of Sant Blai will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sant Blai Day and throughout the weekend.
- The traditional Friends of Sant Blai stall will be set up, offering blessed bread rolls, oil, and other local products.

- Entrance: via Caseta del Tren
- Exit:
- On foot and by bicycle via La Creu (road to Colònia de Sant Jordi)
- Motor vehicles via Pedra Rodona
- Helmet use is mandatory on interurban roads for cyclists under 16, and strongly recommended for all riders.
