Palma turns into an open-air piano hall – and everyone is invited to play.
This Christmas season, Piano a Ciutat brings live music to the streets of Palma in the most magical way: by placing real pianos in iconic public spaces, free for anyone to sit down and play. Whether you’re a seasoned pianist, a curious beginner or simply passing by, the city becomes your stage.
Over several weekends and festive dates, Palma’s squares and pedestrian avenues will host open sessions where locals, visitors, students and families can enjoy — or create — spontaneous music moments.
If you’re exploring the city, keep an ear open – the music will lead you to the nearest piano.
✨ What is “Piano a Ciutat”?
A public, open-access musical initiative that transforms Palma into an interactive concert venue. Upright pianos are set up outdoors, and anyone can play: children, amateur musicians, conservatory students, or just those who want to try their favourite melody.
No registration, no cost – just music.
