In 2023, the incredible project and Instagram account Sentir Mallorca was born. Created by two siblings with a passion for food and uncovering the island’s best foodie hotspots, they share top meal recommendations, exciting leisure activities, and fun outings across Mallorca.

The Mercat 1930 Palma Gastronomic Market is housed in a historic building with a rich past. Originally a beachfront hotel in 1910, it was redesigned in the 1920s by Mallorcan architect Francesc Roca Simó, incorporating striking Art Deco elements. In the 1950s, it became a centerpiece of Palma’s coastline transformation, hosting celebrities and thriving as a hub of nightlife until its closure in the 1970s. Today, Mercat 1930 aims to recapture its legacy, making the area a must-visit destination once again.
