A festive season filled with lights, music, traditions & family activities
Inca transforms into a true Christmas capital each December, offering one of Mallorca’s most complete and lively festive programs. From concerts, markets, parades and creative workshops to traditional celebrations and New Year’s Eve events, the city comes alive with activity for all ages.
Here are some of the programme highlights – and trust us, there is a lot happening in Inca this season:
✨ Festive Lights & Music
- Dec 5 · 18:30 – Christmas Lights Switch-On in Plaça d’Espanya
A magical start to the season with music as the main theme of this year’s celebration: Inca fa Nadal. Inca canta Nadal. - Dec 11–14 – Creativissim Christmas Wonderland
A Christmas market full of creativity, installations, festive décor, workshops and live performances at Plaça de Mallorca.

- Dec 12 – Christmas carol stroll with the Conservatori students
- Dec 13 – The Beatles Tribute – Christmas Edition

- Dec 19 – Ballet of Lights: Sleeping Beauty at Teatre Principal
- Dec 27 – Christmas Concert Missa Criolla at Sant Domingo
- Jan 1 – New Year’s Concert with the Mallorca Chamber Orchestra

🎅 Family Fun & Christmas Magic
- Dec 13 & 20 – Visit from Santa’s elves in the open-air shopping streets
- Dec 14 – Jersey & Jingle Party with live music
- Dec 23 · 18:00 – Santa Claus Parade
From the train station to Santa Maria la Major, followed by a solidarity hot chocolate event. - Dec 24 – Matines & the Song of the Sibil·la
A UNESCO-recognised tradition performed in Inca’s historic churches. - Dec 27–30 – Children’s Christmas Park at Plaça de Mallorca

- Cooking workshops with top chefs (sweet, savoury & festive cocktails)
- Traditional neules paper-cutting workshops
- Christmas storytelling, recycled-material nativity displays, and Rap Nadalenc for families
- Robotix workshops, youth activities, and open-house festive cooking sessions

- Apadrina una carta – a beautiful solidarity initiative ensuring every child receives a gift

- Christmas Train • Basket Tournament • Citywide batucadas • Open-air concerts
🎉 Sport & New Year Celebrations
- Dec 31 morning – Kids’ New Year Event with music, giants & early “campanadas”
- Dec 31 afternoon – Mini Sant Silvestre + Sant Silvestre 6 km Race
Both in support of the National Association for Tuberous Sclerosis. - Dec 31 · 23:30 – New Year’s Eve Party in Plaça d’Espanya
Live music, DJ, grapes & cotillón provided by the Ajuntament.
👑 Three Kings
- Jan 3 & 4 – Meet Patge Faruc and hand in your letters.
- Jan 5 · 17:30 – Cavalcada de Reis
The magical procession through Inca. - Jan 5 · 19:30 – Adoration of the Kings & the symbolic handover of the city keys.
