The Calendar's Note

Cort, Palma’s City Hall, is an iconic building located in Plaça de Cort, blending Gothic and Baroque architecture. Built between the 17th and 19th centuries, it features an ornate façade, the famous clock “En Figuera,” and the centuries-old olive tree, “Olivera de Cort,” symbolizing peace.

Inside, visitors can explore historic chambers, art, and artifacts reflecting Palma’s rich heritage. A hub of governance and culture, Cort offers guided tours for a glimpse into its architectural and historical significance.
