Originally opened in 1903 as Mallorca’s first modern hotel, the Gran Hotel was designed by a renowned architect in the Modernist style. Throughout the 20th century, the building underwent various transformations, ultimately being repurposed in 1993 by “la Caixa” Foundation as a cultural center open to all.

This tour delves into the history and cultural significance of Modernism, exploring the building’s architectural details, renovations, and restoration. Travel through time, from early 20th-century Palma to the present day.
