The Fira del Pebre Bord is a popular annual event that will fill the town with people and goods on October 20th, with activities beginning as early as the 18th.
This year’s highlights include GastroVi, a food route through local bars and restaurants, the Muestra de Producto Local, and traditional events like the giant parade and folk dance.
Over 200 stands will take part, showcasing local products, entertainment, and exhibitions throughout the weekend.

Felanitx is also getting ready to receive an explosion of creativity. On Friday 18th October at 19:00, the Casa de Cultura of Felanitx will open its doors for the eagerly awaited opening of the exhibition ‘Mariscal a Felanitx’. This vibrant event is part of the Fira del Pebre Bord festivities and promises to be a delight for art and film lovers. The exhibition will pay tribute to the fascinating illustrations of the famous Valencian artist Javier Mariscal, creator of unforgettable images for the films ‘Chico & Rita’ and ‘Dispararon al pianista’.
The day will not only be limited to the exhibition. After the opening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a round table full of enthusiasm and learning. This meeting will be attended by leading figures from the cultural world, such as Javier Mariscal himself, Josep Antoni Mendiola (from Ara Balears), Juan Montes de Oca (director and founder of LADAT at the UIB), Elitxo Garayalbe (from the CineCiutat technical team and audiovisual creator) and Olivia Lund Pinya (film student and scriptwriter). This will be a unique occasion to explore Mariscal’s career and his invaluable contributions to film and illustration.
