The unmistakable colour, aroma, and flavour of pebre bord (Mallorcan paprika) return to Felanitx this October for one of Mallorca’s most beloved autumn fairs.

The Fira del Pebre Bord 2025 celebrates the island’s rural heritage and local gastronomy with a full weekend of cultural, culinary, and traditional activities – from concerts and tastings to parades, exhibitions, and folk dancing.
This year’s poster has been created by Antonina Obrador, filmmaker from Felanitx, who pays tribute to the matances(traditional pig slaughter) and to the budelleres – the women who clean and prepare the sausage casings – often unseen but essential to Mallorca’s culinary culture.
🎶 Friday, October 17 – Music & Flavours
The fair kicks off at 19:00 with “Una passa envant”, a concert by Menorcan singer-songwriter Anabel Vilallonga at Les Portasses de l’Hospici.
At 20:00, the Ruta Gastro-Vi Felanitxer begins — a food and wine route through local bars and restaurants offering creative tapas inspired by pebre bord.
🏺 Saturday, October 18 – Heritage, Culture & Tradition
Start the day with guided tours exploring Felanitx’s industrial heritage at 10:00 and 11:00 (departing from Plaça de Sa Font de Santa Margalida, organised by the Centre Cultural de Felanitx).
The town will also host a new edition of Vermunitx, a lively route through the local shops with music, vermouth, and good vibes.
From 17:00, the Parc Municipal de sa Torre fills with life for the Mostra de Producte Local, Brodats, Comerç i Bonsais — a vibrant market showcasing local produce, crafts, embroidery, and bonsai art.
The evening continues with:

🎭 A parade of giants and bagpipers (gegants i xeremiers)
💃 Traditional dances and the official inauguration of the fair
🌶️ Sunday, October 19 – The Big Day
From 9:00 to 19:00, Felanitx hosts the main day of the Fira del Pebre Bord with its festive mix of flavour, tradition, and local pride.
At 10:00, the official opening takes place at Plaça Peralada, featuring:
🧵 A Local Product, Embroidery & Commerce Fair (Km 0)
🚜 Exhibitions of carriages, antique tools, classic cars, motorbikes, bonsais
🐕 Displays of native animals such as ca de bestiar, cans llebrers, and other local breeds.
Throughout the day:
🍴 Street food & local tastings
🎡 Family rides & children’s workshops
🐑 Sheepdog demonstrations with geese
🏍️ Motorbike exhibitions
🎵 Live music, line dancing, and folklore performances
The fair closes in true Mallorcan style with the XXI Ballada del Pebre Bord at 18:00 in Parc Municipal, featuring the folk groups Sarau Alcudienc, Càrritx, and Abeniara – a joyful finale to a weekend full of local rhythm and flavour.
