The village of Llubí, Mallorca’s beekeeping capital, celebrates the 25th anniversary of its beloved Fira de la Mel (Honey Fair) and the Fira Tradicional the week after – full days & weekends dedicated to honey, agriculture, craftsmanship, and community.

Llubí has long been a pioneer in preserving Mallorca’s apicultural heritage, and this fair is a shining example of how the village keeps its agricultural and artisanal traditions alive.

🐝 Programme Highlights

Friday, November 14
The celebration opens at 19:30 at the Municipal Theatre with an audiovisual presentation commemorating 25 years of the Honey Fair. The evening will feature two round tables — one with former mayors and public figures, and another with beekeepers and representatives of Mallorca’s honey industry.

Saturday, November 15
The Balearic Association of Beekeepers (ABA) hosts its annual meeting at 9:00 at Casal d’Entitats, followed in the evening by the Fireta del Vi, a lively wine fair featuring local cellars 7103 Petit Celler, Jaume de Puntiró, Can Morgan, Celler Can Coleto, and Molí d’en Blanc. Local food stalls will serve dinner, paired with live music by Sax & Voice and MSM Música Mallorca.

Sunday, November 16 – Main Fair Day
From 10:00, Llubí’s streets buzz with life during the Fira de la Mel — with stalls selling honey, beekeeping materials, and local artisan goods. Visitors can sample sobrassada with honey and the ancient mulsum, a honey-infused wine.

The fair also includes exhibitions of children’s artwork from local schools, the 2025 poster competition award, and a family show with Rodamon at 16:30, followed by a chocolate feast with sweet pastries from Forn de Can Ramon and Forn de Can Gelabert.
