Every January, the villages of Algaida, Pina and Randa come together to celebrate Sant Honorat and Sant Antoni, two of the municipality’s most deeply rooted and beloved traditional festivals. Over several weeks, the programme blends religious devotion, popular culture, fire rituals, music, dance and community life, creating one of the most authentic winter celebrations in central Mallorca.

9–19 January 2026
Festivities begin with cultural activities, exhibitions, concerts and community events, gradually building up to the Revetla de Sant Honorat on 15 January, when bonfires are lit, dimonis take over the streets, and neighbours gather around food, music and dance.
Highlights include:
- Art exhibitions, concerts and radio specials
- The festive Pregó (opening speech)
- Foguerons, torrada and popular dancing
- Correfoc with the Dimonis de sa Cova des Fossar
- Ball dels Cossiers during the official Sant Honorat Mass
- Family workshops, children’s activities and community sports events
The celebrations honour Sant Honorat as a symbol of protection, fertility and rural heritage, deeply linked to Algaida’s agricultural identity.

16–17 January 2026
Sant Antoni Abat, patron saint of animals, is celebrated with fire, music and devotion in Pina and Randa, following Mallorca’s most iconic winter traditions.
🐴 Friday 16 January · Revetla de Sant Antoni
- Children’s workshops and mask-making
- Lighting of foguerons
- Dimonis, xeremiers and street processions
- Communal torrada with wine and music
🐴 Saturday 17 January · Sant Antoni
- Beneïdes (blessing of animals)
- Decorated carriages and traditional music
- Popular dancing and village celebrations
In Randa, the festivities are marked by bonfires, communal meals and traditional glosat, reinforcing the intimate, village-scale character of the celebration.
