Vilafranca becomes Mallorca’s melon capital once again with the 54th Festa del Meló (Saturday, September 6) and the 30th Fira del Meló (Sunday, September 7).
Across September, the town hosts cultural, traditional, agricultural, and family-friendly activities centred around its emblem fruit: the melon (meló). Expect fairs, workshops, theatre, music, exhibitions, sports, and plenty of melon tastings.

- 16:30 – Relay of Quintada & delivery of the Banya de Boc (youth ceremony).
- 19:00 – Opening of the Firó Nocturn with exhibitions, workshops, and artisan stalls.
- 20:30 – Lantern Parade with Vilatukada drummers (white shirt & green scarf dress code).
- 21:00 – Pyrotechnic show “MeloFoc” by Els Boietons de Foc & children’s demon troupe from Sineu.
