Why Visit:

The Festa i Fira del Meló is one of Mallorca’s most vibrant and authentic agricultural fairs. It blends tradition with modern creativity: melon competitions, artisan workshops, lantern parades, pyrotechnic shows, folk theatre, live music, and community feasts. For two main days, Vilafranca is a celebration of the melon, but the entire month offers culture, sports, exhibitions, and family fun.

👉 Must-sees: the Lantern Parade & MeloFoc (Sept 6), the Grand Melon Fair with tastings & contests (Sept 7), and the unique mix of cultural activities all September long.
