Once a year, the village of Sineu transforms into a living artwork illuminated by thousands of candles.
Contrallum, meaning “against the light,” is a night-time cultural walk through 11 artistic and heritage installations, each inspired by light and reflection. The route, marked entirely by candlelight, invites visitors to experience Sineu’s historic streets and landmarks in a completely new way – quiet, glowing, and full of wonder.
Created by the Col·lectiu Contrallum, this community-driven event aims to revalue local heritage, foster artistic creation, and promote environmental awareness, participation, and critical thinking.
