One of Palma’s most beloved Christmas traditions has officially begun: the Belén de Cort is now open to the public. Installed every year in the historic entrance hall of the Ajuntament, this handcrafted nativity scene marks the true start of the festive season in the city.
Created and assembled by the Belenistas de Mallorca, it’s a meticulous, artisanal work that delights both children and adults – a must-visit stop for anyone soaking in Palma’s Christmas atmosphere.
