FIET 2025 (Vilafranca de Bonany)

Mallorca’s flagship performing-arts fair and show for children, teens & families.

Price: Voluntary donations
Location: Vilafranca de Bonany, Mallorca
(various venues across town)
Date: Thu 16, October, 2025
- Sun 19, October, 2025

More information

Every third weekend of October, Vilafranca turns into a living stage. Benches in the plaza, the municipal theatre, the sports halls, corners and streets – everything becomes “scene.”

FIET is Mallorca’s flagship performing-arts fair for children, teens & families, created by Sa Xerxa. It’s a big festival with a small-town soul: community hosts open their homes to visiting artists; municipal teams, volunteers, designers and technicians transform everyday spaces into theatres – so you can sit among neighbours and watch extraordinary stories unfold.

2025 Identity

This will be the largest FIET to date—more shows, more sessions, more magic—while keeping the intimate vibe that makes it special. The official image features Gossip by Cuban artist Hugo A. González Fernández: a queen and a jester caught in the playful web of rumor—an emblem of FIET’s international spirit and its dialogue between cultures.

  • Puppetry, object theatre & visual theatre (often text-free)
  • Street parades & itinerant clowning

Why FIET matters

FIET is community, craft and care in motion: municipal crews build stages, families host artists, designers and publicists spread the word, volunteers seat you with a smile, and companies bring the best of their art. Together we “keep dreaming theatre”—because beauty and play help a community grow.

See you in Vilafranca. Bring curiosity, comfy shoes… and your inner child.
